Christine and Mike will be making a canal journey for six weeks this summer (starting mid-June) to mark 40 years of marriage! We had our honeymoon on a canal boat in 1967, when the leisure use of canals was hardly beginning. We hired a boat from Canal Cruising in Stone - they still operate from that base.
However, to obtain the features in a boat that we wanted for this trip, we returned to Wyvern Shipping in Leighton Buzzrd - we went from there last summer (along with Adrian, Joanna, Ellie, Alice - and Andrew). In particular, we wanted to be able to run a laptop whilst on-board and the necessary 'mains' power supply is not always installed by every hirer - yet!
